Overview[]
The Dragon Cave is an already existing building you cannot build, upgrade or destroy. The Dragon Cave is already unlocked when you start your game, and it will be immeditaly usable. You can train your dragon inside the cave's Cavern. At the end of the training the Dragon will obtain experience and you will obtain up to 3 rewards (both experience and rewards depends on the Dragon level). Every day, you can perform up to 5 trainings per Cavern.
How to train your Dragon[]
There are a total of 8 caverns inside the Dragon Cave:
- 3 Caverns are free;
- 1 Cavern is unlockable with any in-game purchase;
- 3 Cavern are unlockable at the cost of 200, 500 and 800 Rubies, respectively;
- 1 Caverns is temporary unlockable when the relative Goddess' Blessing reward is active.
If you have Rubies to use, the purchase of a new cavern in the Dragon Cave is a very wise choice, as it will be forever unlocked and will boost your Dragon leveling process significantly. As the Dragons are one of the most important game mechanincs, you will always benefit by having high level Dragons.
Once you have selected the cavern where you want to train a Dragon, if the cavern has any training sessions left, select the Dragon you want to train, then hit "Dispatch". The training will last 30 minutes.
You can choose to performe a normal or advanced training. An advanced training will cost 5 Rubies and will always give you 100 experience points more than the normal training. However, 100 points are so few that you will never find yourself in a situation where you'll want to use it. The amount of experience gained by the normal training varies, based on the Dragon level. It goes from a good 10% of the total expereince needed to level up, when the Dragon is low level, to 1%-0.5% when the Dragon has a higher level.
The experience your Dragon will receive depends only on its level and not from the experience needed to level up. For example, if a level 41 Water Dragon and a level 41 Frost Dragon train, they both gonna get 470 points. However the Water Dragon needs 56,588 to level up to level 42, while the Frost Dragon needs 62,246. The developers wanted to make it more difficult to level up stronger dragons. I recommend to choose one or two Dragon at maximum and train them in the cave. A single Dragon can take advantage of from every single cavern available. By doing so you should be able to level up your dragon in few days, especially if you will train and feed your dragon.
If your dragon is about to level up, the best practice is to use your Dragon Food before training it in the Dragon Cave. Since the amount of experience you get from any Cavern depends on the Dragon level, it will increase when the Dragon will level up. On the other side, Dragon Food always provide the same amount of experience, whether your Dragon is at level 3 or level 71. Applying this strategy will grant you the maximum amount of experience possible, so you'll be able to level up your Dragon faster.
Training Rewards[]
At the end of the training you receive up to 3 items as reward. This depends on the the Dragon level, as you will get 1 item if the Dragon is below level 21, 2 items in the dragon is below level 50 and 3 items in every other case. You can receive multiple copies of the same item in that reward slot.
The items you can get after every training session are:
- 1 minute speedup;
- 5 minutes speedup;
- 15 minutes speedup;
- 1 Essence of Fury;
- 1 Mistery Dragon Skill (a chest with a random Dragon Skill);
- 5,000 of any normal reosurce (Food, Wood, Mineral, Stone, Gold)
- 1,000 of any special resource (Pearl, Seed, Geode, Brimstone, Venom Crystal, Icy Crystal)
